Who we are

Dataflow Solutions (Sydney, Australia), contactable at [email protected] or 0451 851 912. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

If you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number, organisation and message you provide. Phone number and organisation are optional.

Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, request times and pages requested. These exist to keep the site running and to detect abuse.

We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or third-party cookies. This site sets no cookies at all.

Why we collect it

To read and respond to your enquiry, and to have a record of what was discussed if we go on to work together. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Where it goes

Enquiries are stored on our own servers in Australia and forwarded to a business email account. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties except where required by law.

Email delivery necessarily passes through our email provider. Aside from that, form submissions are not sent to any external service.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to work we carry out are kept for as long as we are required to keep business records, then deleted. Server access logs are rotated and discarded on a rolling basis.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Submissions are stored on infrastructure we control, with access restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy matter, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Client confidentiality

Separately from this policy: work we do for clients is not published in identifiable form. Case studies on this site describe outcomes only, with organisations, individuals and internal systems unidentified, and no client material is reproduced.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version appears here with a new date at the top.
