Four areas of work. In practice most engagements draw on more than one, because the answer to “this takes too long” is rarely confined to a single technology. What stays constant is the fit: the right tool for the problem in front of you, not the largest one we could sell you, and no procurement or migration you did not need.

Removing the manual step, rather than making it quicker to perform.
Most manual work survives because it is nobody’s job to question it. Somebody built a report once, and now three people maintain it. Two systems disagree, so a person reconciles them every month. A compliance obligation is tracked as a team total, which reliably hides the individual who is behind.
We take those out. Data loads from source instead of being re-keyed. Documents assemble themselves from the information already captured. Compliance resolves to the person and the month, so it can be acted on while there is still time.

Custom applications
When the process does not fit anything you can buy, we build the tool.
There is a point where a spreadsheet stops being the right answer, usually when several people need it at once, or the logic has grown past what anyone can safely edit. The usual response is to shop for a product and then reshape the business around it.
The alternative is to build the thing the process actually needs. We do full application work: web, Windows desktop and Android, with real databases, real authentication and real deployment. Software that keeps running when the person who wrote it is not in the room.

AI
AI solutions
Used where the difficulty is judgement. Conventional code everywhere else.
A great deal of manual work is reading. Reading a bundle of documents to fill in a form. Reading an inbox to work out what needs doing. Reading a scope to produce another document from it. Rules-based automation cannot help, because the input has no reliable structure, which is exactly what language models are good at.
We are deliberate about where this belongs. AI drafts, extracts and classifies; a person reviews anything where being wrong would matter. And where a plain script would do the job, we write the plain script, because it is cheaper and it does not surprise you.

Platform
Microsoft 365, Dynamics & Power Platform
Most organisations already own more capability than they use.
Before recommending anything new, we look at what your licences already cover. It is common to find a team paying for a platform, then doing the same work by hand beside it because nobody had time to configure it properly.
We work across the Microsoft stack, and we are equally willing to tell you that the answer is a two-hour Power Query change rather than a project.

Engagements
What this costs, honestly.
We do not publish rates, because the useful number is not our rate. It is what the problem is costing you now. A reconciliation that consumes two days a month is a different proposition to one that consumes two hours, even though the build might be identical.
So we start with a conversation and a look at the actual process. If there is something worth building, you get a fixed scope and a fixed price before any work starts. If the honest answer is that the saving will not cover the build, we will tell you that instead, and it costs you nothing to have found out.
Engagements range from a few days of focused work through to multi-month application builds. Both are normal. The smaller ones are more common, and they are often the ones that pay back fastest.
